7.\nApproval of Resolution to Authorize the Acceptance, Appropriation, and Expenditure\nof the El Cajon Boulevard Streetscape Phase 2 Grant Award\nThat the City Council adopts the next Resolution, in order, to:\nAuthorize the City Manager, or approved designee, to accept, appropriate, and\nexpend grant funding as provided through the San Diego Association of\nGovernments (SANDAG) TransNet Smart Growth Incentive Program – Cycle 6\nfor the El Cajon Boulevard Streetscape Phase 2 project;\n1.\nAuthorize the City Manager, or approved designee, to execute other necessary\ndocuments with SANDAG to accept any awards of grants; and\n2.\nAppropriate $2,712,275 from the SANDAG TransNet Smart Growth Incentive\nProgram - Cycle 6 Grant (SGIP-EL44), $168,225 from Local TransNet EL03\nAsphalt Overlay, and $167,000 from Local TransNet EL11 Sidewalk funds to\nthe Main Street Green Street Phase 2 project (243830PWCP), and authorize\nthe expenditure of these funds.\n3.
