6.5\nAPPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE AGREEMENT WITH\nAPPLE VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT (AVUSD) FOR\nCAPTAIN JOSEPH MCCONNELL JR., U.S.A.F. PARK PROPERTY\nIt is recommended that the Town Council approve the amendment to the\noriginal lease agreement at 21878 Pahute Rd. to exclude a small portion\nof the land from town maintenance and responsibilities and return it to\nthe Apple Valley School District(AVUSD) as reflected in Exhibit A through\nC. Approval of this item will formalize the amendment and support the\nlong-term success of both the park and the adjacent school property.
