B.7.\nESTABLISH A FILM PERMIT ADMINISTRATIVE FEE WAIVER PILOT\nPROGRAM [J. SCHARE, E. ROBINSON]:\nSUBJECT: This item presents a fiscal impact analysis of a one-year Film\nPermit Administrative Fee Waiver Pilot Program for FY 2026-27 (July 1,\n2026 through June 30, 2027) and directs staff to implement the program to\nincentivize film production activity in West Hollywood by waiving City-\nissued film permit administrative fees; all other applicable fees including\nthose related to public property use, street use, closures, blanket\nadministrative fees, and revision or rider fees, will remain in effect, along\nwith existing processing, notification, and public safety requirements.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Receive an estimation of fiscal impacts\nanalysis of a one-year Film Permit Administrative Fee Waiver Pilot\nProgram during FY 2026-27 (July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027); and 2)\nDirect Staff to implement a one-year Film Permit Administrative Fee\nWaiver Pilot Program by waiving City-issued film permit administrative\nfees during FY 2026-27 (July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027).
