E. CO-SPONSOR THE 2026 HI AUTUMN FESTIVAL WITH WORLD JOURNAL LA,\nLLC\nThe City Council is requested to consider and approve co-sponsorship of the 2026\nHi Autumn Festival with World Journal LA, LLC.\nRecommendation:\n1. Approve hosting and co-sponsorship of a 2026 Hi Autumn Festival (Festival)\nwith World Journal LA, LLC (World Journal) on Saturday, September 19 through\nSunday, September 20, 2026;\n2. Approve the temporary parking restriction on the north side of Las Tunas Drive\nbetween Kauffman Avenue and Golden West Avenue adjacent to Temple City\nPark and a parking restriction on the west side of Golden West Avenue adjacent\nto Temple City Park on September 18 at 9:00 a.m. through September 20, 2026\nat 11:59 p.m.;\n3. Waive all fees and deposits for the use of Temple City Park and the Performing\nArts Pavilion;\n4. Waive all fees and authorize city staff to hang a street banner on Las Tunas\nDrive from August 10 to September 20, 2026;\n5. Approve use of the city’s outdoor movie screen and equipment;\n6. Approve the use of the City Seal and city logo for advertising and promotional\nmaterials; and\n7. Grant World Journal LA, LLC a special event permit with the conditions and\nresponsibilities stated in the staff report and authorize the City Manager to place\nadditional conditions if necessary.\nAttachment:\nStaff Report
