f) CONSIDERATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF THE CALIFORNIA ENERGY COMMISSION\nCAL-APP GRANT FOR ONLINE SOLAR PERMITTING\nIt is recommended that the City Council accept the awarded California Energy\nCommission Cal-APP Grant in the amount of $40,000.\nCEQA FINDINGS\nThis activity accepts grant funds to update online permitting infrastructure and has no\npotential for resulting in either a direct physical change in the environment, or a\nreasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment, and as such, is not\na “project” subject to the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\n14 Cal. Code Regs § 15378.\nDISCUSSION
