10.\nContract with R Dependable Const Inc. for Vernon City Hall Third Floor Facilities\nRenovations\nRecommendation:\nA. Find that the proposed action is categorically exempt from California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) review, in accordance with CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, because\nthe project consists of the maintenance, repair or minor alteration of existing facilities and\nequipment and involves negligible or no expansion of an existing or former use;\nB. Accept the bid proposal from R Dependable Const Inc. as the most responsive and\nresponsible bidder for the Vernon City Hall Third Floor Facilities Renovations project and\nreject all other bids;\nC. Approve and authorize the City Administrator to execute Contract No. 20260210 in the\namount of $126,000.00 for the Vernon City Hall Third Floor Facilities Renovations project for\na period not to exceed 90 days; and\nD. Authorize a contingency amount of ten percent (10%) or $12,600.00 in the event of\nan unexpected changed condition in the project and grant authority to the City Administrator\nto issue a change order(s) for an amount up to the contingency amount, if necessary.
