Pablo, City Clerk/Elections Official and Kristen Steinke, City\nAttorney\nRecommendation: (1) Receive and file the City Clerk/Elections Official’s\ncertification of sufficiency, based on the signature verification results provided\nby the San Diego County Registrar of Voters, confirming that the initiative\npetition contains the requisite number of valid signatures to qualify for City\nCouncil action; (2) Direct the City Clerk/Elections Official to refund the $200\ninitiative filing fee to the proponent; and (3) Submit the Initiative Ordinance to\nthe voters, without alteration, pursuant to Elections Code section 1405.\nCity Council Reports on Meetings Attended at the Expense of the City\n(GC 53232.3 (d)) (53232.3.
