8.6 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2025-06, NEIGHBORHOOD SLURRY SEAL\nAREA 7 – REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT – It is recommended the City\nCouncil award the contract for Capital Improvement Project No. 2025-06, Neighborhood\nSlurry Seal Area 7, to American Asphalt South, Inc. in the amount of $484,426.20, authorize\nthe City Manager to execute the contract on behalf of the City, authorize the City Manager\nto approve addendums to the existing on-call engineering contracts for construction\ninspection and testing services in an amount not to exceed 20 percent of the construction\ncost, and authorize the City Manager to approve additional work up to 20 percent of the total construction cost.\n8.6 CIP No. 2025-06 Slurry Seal Area 7 9.
