7. It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Read by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 2026-28 titled:\n“ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELL ACCEPTING\nTHE STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 AS\nCOMPLETE AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PREPARE AND FILE THE\nNOTICE OF COMPLETION WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY RECORDER”;\nand\n2. Authorize staff to release retained construction contract amounts due to the contractor\nthirty-five (35) days after the filing of the Notice of Completion.
