D. APPROVAL OF A CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH SANDRA\nMEDRANO TO PROVIDE HOUSING SERVICES FOR THE CITY’S HOME\nIMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS\nThe City Council is requested to approve a consultant services agreement to\nprovide housing services.\nRecommendation:\n1. Review and approve a consultant services agreement (Attachment “A”) with\nSandra Medrano (Medrano) to provide housing services for three years, with\ntwo optional one-year extensions, for a total compensation of $178,971. The\ntotal compensation shall not exceed 20 percent of the City’s Home Improvement\nProgram’s budget;\n2. Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute the consultant services\nagreement for three years beginning on July 1, 2026; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to amend the consultant services agreement with\nMedrano for up to two additional years, in one-year increments. The total value\nof the consultant services agreement for future FYs shall not exceed $59,657 or\n20 percent of the City’s Home Improvement Program budget in those years,\nwhichever is less.\nAttachment: Staff Report
