6. 26-55324 Recommendation to accept Categorical Exemption CE-26-033, finding the\nproposed project exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\npursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15303 (Class 3, New Construction or\nConversion of Small Structures); and\nApprove a Conditional Use Permit (CUP25-023) to legalize an existing certified\nCalifornia Redemption Value (CRV) recycling center with an on-site attendant for\neligible beverage containers, including aluminum, glass, and plastic containers\nlocated in an existing 2,600 square foot building at 1951 West 16th Street in the\nGeneral Industrial (IG) Zoning District. Heavy metal recycling (i.e. copper) is not\npermitted as part of this recycling center use. (District 7)\nSuggested Action: Approve recommendation.
