(1) Approval of the Minutes from the May 11, 2026 Regular Meeting.\nApproval of the Minutes\nNeighborhood Council Comments (pursuant to Ordinance No. 184243)\nNeighborhood Council representatives will be afforded an opportunity to provide the Commission\nwith its formal position on any matter listed on the agenda, provided it has been filed with the City\nClerk in the form of a Community Impact Statement or written Resolution.\nPublic Comment\nComments by the public on agenda items and on all other matters within the subject matter\njurisdiction of the Commission will be heard during the "Public Comments" period of the meeting.\nMembers of the public who wish to speak on Agendized items shall be allowed to speak for up to\ntwo minutes per item, and one minute on Non-Agendized items, up to a total of five minutes per\nmeeting. Given the logistical limitations of interconnecting two independent virtual meeting\nspaces, once every member of the public has been given the opportunity to be heard, further\npublic comment will not be possible at this meeting.\nItems(s)\n(1) Presentation by Karen Mack, Executive Director, LA Commons, and\nLeticia Rhi Buckley, Civic Strategist and Cultural Advocate, on the work\nof the Cultural District Networking Committee, which centers on the\ndevelopment of cultural centers and activities as a key strategy for\nenhancing belonging and connectedness, and as a result promoting\nthe wellness that results when people are in contact with each other\nand work together to achieve their vision of a healthy community; and\npossible Commission action.
