4.4 Approval of Resolutions Related to the November 3, 2026, General Municipal\nElection\nRecommendation: That the City Council 1) Adopt a Resolution entitled: "A Resolution of\nthe City Council of the City of Laguna Hills, California, Calling for the Holding of a General\nMunicipal Election to be Held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for the Election of Certain\nOfficers as Required by the Provisions of the Laws of the State of California Relating to\nGeneral Law Cities”; 2) Adopt a Resolution entitled: "A Resolution of the City Council of\nthe City of Laguna Hills, California, Requesting The Board of Supervisors of the County of\nOrange to Consolidate a General Municipal Election to be Held on November 3, 2026,\nwith the Statewide General Election to be Held on the Same Date Pursuant to Section\n10403 of the Elections Code"; and 3) Adopt a Resolution entitled: "A Resolution of the\nCity Council of the City of Laguna Hills, California, Adopting Regulations for Candidates for\nElective Office Pertaining to Candidates’ Statements Submitted to the Voters at an\nElection to be Held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
