b) REPORT AWARD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT TO CREATE\n23-0225 A RESIDENT AND BUSINESS MITIGATION EDUCATION PROGRAM\nTO SIREN CREATIVE LLC (DBA SIREN SF)\n(Emergency Management Coordinator Israel Estrada)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Award a contract to SIREN Creative LLC (DBA SIREN SF) to create a resident and\nbusiness mitigation education program at a not-to-exceed amount $180,000 for a term of\none year ending April 25, 2024 (Attachment 3);\n2. Add estimated revenue of $187,500 in the Grant Fund and appropriate $187,500 in the\nGrant Fund for the federal share of the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Grant and\n$62,500 in the General Fund from the Prospective Expenditures account to cover the\nnon-federal match; and\n3. Authorize the Mayor to execute and the City Clerk to attest to the proposed\nagreement subject to approval by the City Attorney.
