8F.Finance – Accept and Appropriate Los Angeles World Cup 2026\nSafety and Security Grant Program Subrecipient Award and\nAuthorize the City Manager to Execute the Grant Agreement and\nRelated Documents. Expenditure: None.\nRecommendation of the Finance Director that City Council:\n1. Accept and appropriate the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Safety\nand Security Grant Program (LAWCSSGP) subrecipient award in\nthe amount of $2,831,628.37 from the Los Angeles World Cup\n2026 Host Committee, LLC, funded by the Federal Emergency\nManagement Agency (FEMA) FIFA World Cup Grant Program, to\na newly created grant project; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager as the City's signatory for all other\ngrant-related documents and to act on the City's behalf with\nrespect to the grant and all decisions in connection with the\ngrant.
