38. 26-55259 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all\ndocuments necessary for a Second Amendment to Agreement No. 36740 with Visit\nLong Beach, Inc., dba Meet Long Beach, of Long Beach, CA, a California non-\nprofit corporation, to provide the City of Long Beach (City) with a marketing\nprogram for conventions and tourism, and to support economic development\ninitiatives that position Long Beach as a destination for entertainment, sports, and\ntourism, and support small businesses, in the amount of $4,608,676, for the fiscal\nyear ending September 30, 2026, and in amounts subject to annual appropriation\nby the City Council in subsequent years, for an additional three-year extension\nbeyond the originally authorized agreement term; and authorize City Manager, or\ndesignee, to execute all documents necessary to amend the agreement, including\nany necessary subsequent amendments.
