H. Award Contract with Los Angeles County Homeless Services and Housing Department for Predictive\nPrevention Pilot Utilizing a County Homelessness Prevention Unit Services Model in the City of Santa\nMonica\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of no possibility of significant effect pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3)\n(Common Sense Exemption) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nGuidelines; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement with the Los Angeles\nCounty Homeless Services and Housing Department for implementation of a Predictive\nPrevention Pilot for the Housing and Human Services Department. This recommended\naward is made as an exception to the competitive bidding process pursuant to Section\n2.24.250(i) and is for a total amount not to exceed $800,000 for one year, with future\nfunding contingent on Council budget approval.\nStaff Report Printout\na.
