Fiscal Year 2026/27 Budget (page 421)\nPresented by the City Manager\nRecommendation: The City Council is recommended to adopt the FY 26/27 Budget.\nThe FY 26/27 General Fund Budget reflects a structural imbalance where\nongoing and recurring expenditures exceed recurring revenues. During\nbudget discussions with the Mayor and City Council over the last several\nmonths, staff has implemented various expenditure reductions and\nincorporated Mayor and City Council direction in the proposed FY 26/27\nBudget.\nFor the upcoming fiscal year, the Mayor and City Council is presented\nwith a balanced budget with the use of one-time revenues to close the gap\nbetween expenditures and revenues.
