J. Ratify Emergency Purchase Order Modification for Commercial Scaffolding of California Incorporated\nfor Emergency Shoring at PS5\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of statutory exemption pursuant to Section 15269 and a finding of\ncategorical exemption pursuant to Section 15301 of the California Environmental Quality\nAct (CEQA) Guidelines; and\n2. Ratify the Procurement Manager’s issuance of a purchase order with Commercial\nScaffolding of California Incorporated for the extended rental of emergency temporary\nshoring for Parking Structure 5 for the Department of Transportation. The emergency\npurchase order modification of $90,000 will be made as an exception to the competitive\nbidding process pursuant to Section 2.24.250(i) and is for a total amount not to exceed\n$265,260 with future year funding contingent on Council budget approval.\nStaff Report Printout\na.
