A. Adoption of a Resolution Authorizing Acceptance of the Reconnecting Communities Pilot Grant with\nthe California Department of Transportation for the Reconnecting Pico Project and Execution of\nNecessary Associated Documents\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15262 (Feasibility and\nPlanning Studies) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines;\n2. Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to accept a grant awarded to the City in\nthe amount of $2,000,000 from the Office of the Secretary of Transportation, U.S.\nDepartment of Transportation Reconnecting Communities Pilot Program for the Santa\nMonica Reconnecting Pico Project in the Public Works Department, and to accept all\ngrant renewals;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute all necessary documents to accept\nthe grant and all grant renewals; and\n4.
