9.\nAPPROVE AWARD OF CONTRACT TO AMTECH ELEVATOR SERVICES FOR REPAIRS,\nMODERNIZATION AND EQUIPMENT UPGRADES FOR THE POLICE STATION ELEVATOR, CITY\nPROJECT NO. 6-B-26\nThat the City Council:\nA. Waive formal bid procedures per La Habra Municipal Code Section 4.20.170 (A) Emergency Work and\nutilize informal bidding procedures;\nB. Award a construction contract to AMTECH Elevator Services of Cerritos, California, for the\nModernization and Equipment Upgrade of the La Habra Police Department Elevator, City Project No. 6-B-\n26, at the Police Station located at 150 North Euclid Street, La Habra; and,\nC. Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with AMTECH Elevator Services, and authorize\nstaff to issue a purchase order to AMTECH Elevator Services in the amount of $243,600, which includes a\ntwenty percent (20%) contingency, for the repairs, modernization and equipment upgrades for the Police\nStation elevator.
