42. 26-55394\nRecommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to purchase, through\nAlliant Insurance Services, Inc., the following insurance policies: excess municipal\nliability insurance at a premium not to exceed $13,935,240, with multiple carriers; a\ndeductible buy-down policy with Safety National to reduce the City’s self-insured\nretention to $7.5 million at a premium not to exceed $2,411,881; Officer Involved\nShooting (OIS) coverage with Lloyd’s of London at a premium not to exceed\n$901,511; airport liability insurance with National Union Fire Insurance Company at\na premium not to exceed $169,091; aircraft liability and hull insurance for Police\nDepartment helicopters with National Union Fire Insurance Company at a premium\nnot to exceed $61,742; storage tank insurance with Liberty Surplus Insurance\nCorporation at a premium not to exceed $44,038; SPILLS pollution coverage with\nIronshore Specialty Insurance Company at a premium not to exceed $11,529;\ndrone coverage with Starr Indemnity & Liability Company at a premium not to\nexceed $14,191; crime coverage with PRISM at a premium not to exceed $57,900;\nvolunteer medical coverage with National Union Fire Insurance Company of\nPittsburg, PA at a premium not to exceed $14,063; marine insurance with Atlantic\nSpecialty Insurance Company at a premium not to exceed $498,890; cyber excess\ncoverage with Liberty Surplus Insurance Corporation at a premium not to exceed\n$210,469; cyber breach response buy-up with Lloyd’s of London - Beazley\nSyndicates at a premium not to exceed $6,345; and medical professional liability\ninsurance with Admiral Insurance Company at a premium not to exceed $81,259.\nThe total cost of all coverages shall not exceed $18,418,150, and all policies will\nbe effective for a 12-month period from July 1, 2026, to July 1, 2027. Further,\nauthorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to\nsecure these coverages, including any required Joint Powers Authority (JPA)\nAgreement and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PRISM to maintain\nCrime Coverage.
