G. PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF BLADE SIGNS FOR THE LAS TUNASDRIVE STREETSCAPE PROJECTThe City Council is requested to authorize the City manager to execute a contractfor the purchase and installation of blade signs for participating businesses in theLas Tunas Drive Streetscape Project.Recommendation:1. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract and/or purchase order withASI Sign Systems, Inc. (ASI), through the State of California Multiple AwardSchedules (CMAS) Program, for the purchase and installation of blade signs forparticipating businesses in the Las Tunas Drive Streetscape Project, in anamount not to exceed $33,912.05, which includes a 10 percent contingency forunforeseen issues;2. Authorize the City Manager to approve related non-substantive changes andexecute any documents necessary to implement the purchase and installation;and3. Waive fees related to building plan check, building permit, and encroachmentpermits.Attachment: Staff Report
