F. APPROVAL OF A CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH LEAD TECHENVIRONMENTAL TO PROVIDE ASBESTOS AND LEAD-BASED PAINTTESTING SERVICES FOR THE CITY’S HOME IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMSThe City council is requested to approve a consultant services agreement toprovide asbestos and lead-based paint testing services for the City's HomeImprovement Programs.Recommendation:1. Review and approve a consultant services agreement (Attachment “A”) withLead Tech Environmental (Lead Tech) to provide asbestos, lead, and moldconsulting services for an initial three-year term, with one optional one-yearextension, for a total compensation not to exceed $45,000 during the initial term;2. Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute the consultant servicesagreement for three years beginning on July 1, 2026; and3. Authorize the City Manager to exercise the optional one-year extension ifcompensation for the extension year does not exceed $15,000.Attachment: Staff Report
