Consideration to Approve an Interim Urgency Ordinance Instituting a Temporary 45-Day\nMoratorium Prohibiting Processing, Approval, and Acceptance of New Data Center Land Use\nApplications (page 769)\nPresented by the City Attorney\nRecommendation: The City Council is requested to:\n1. Determine the adoption of this Urgency Ordinance is exempt from\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to CEQA\nGuidelines Section 15061(b)(3); and\n2. Introduce by title only, and waive further reading of Urgency\nOrdinance, imposing a 45-day moratorium prohibiting processing,\napproval, and acceptance of new Data Center land use applications.
