32. CONTRACT AMENDMENT FOR ALHAMBRA CITY HALL LOBBY ATTENDANT\nSERVICE – F2M20-43, C2M24-41, M2M26-102\nOn June 24, 2024, the City Council awarded a two-year contract to Good Guard Security,\nInc. of Chatsworth, CA for Fiscal Years 2024-25 and 2025-26. The contract amount was\nfor two years for $112,287.68. This contract extension, in the amount of $59,101.12, is for\nFY 2026-27 and $61,156.16 for FY 2027-28. Good Guard, Inc. has provided satisfactory\nperformance in their two years of service. There is a demonstrated need to have a lobby\nattendant at City Hall to direct visitors, patrol City Hall and Civic Center Library buildings,\nincluding the parking structure, staircases, elevators, and adjacent courtyard.\nRecommended Action: City Council authorize a contract amendment with Good\nGuard Security, Inc. of Chatsworth, CA (Contract No. C2M24-41), in an amount not to\nexceed $120,257.28, for Alhambra City Hall Lobby Attendant Service through June 30,\n2028, subject to final language approval by the City Manager and the City Attorney; and,\ndirect staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize the Council’s action.
