15. APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH EVARI CONSULTING, INC. –\nF2M25-30, C2M25-36, M2M26-87\nOn July 28, 2025, the City Council authorized an agreement with Evari Consulting, Inc. for\nProfessional Engineering Services for the Development of a Street Light Master Plan in\nthe amount of $235,762.00. The proposed amendment will expand the consultant’s scope\nof work to include development of a Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Implementation Grant\nApplication for Garfield Avenue between Mission Road and Hellman Avenue. This corridor\nis consistent the City’s adopted Vision Zero resolution and has been identified as a high-\npriority safety corridor within, Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP) and “Walk, Bike, Move\nAlhambra” Active Transportation Plan (ATP). The corridor is also currently being evaluated\nas part of the Citywide Master Plan for the Street Light Replacement Project. The\nproposed grant application will support future roadway safety improvements intended to\nimprove accessibility and safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve a contract amendment, subject to final\nlanguage approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to Contract No. C2M25-36 with\nEvari Consulting, Inc. for professional engineering services for the development of a Street\nLight Master Plan Project; increase the total amount by $15,000.00 bringing the total\ncontract amount to $250,762.00; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to\nfinalize the Council’s action.
