5.D. RESOLUTIONS PERTAINING TO THE BUENA PARK GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF THREE\nCOUNCIL MEMBER SEATS FOR DISTRICTS 1, 2, AND 5, FOR TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2026\nPresented by Adria M. Vicuna, Director of Government and Community Relations/City Clerk\n— Recommended Action: Adopt Resolutions: 1) Calling for the holding of a General Municipal Election to be\nheld on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for the election of one Council Member in District 1, one Council Member\nin District 2, and one Council Member in District 5, for a full term of four years each; 2) Requesting the Orange\nCounty Registrar of Voters to consolidate a General Municipal Election to be held on November 3, 2026, with\nthe Statewide General Election to be held on the date pursuant to Section 10403 of the California Elections\nCode; 3) Adopting regulations pertaining to candidates statements; and, 4) Determining a tie-vote shall be\nresolved by a runoff election.
