8E.City Manager – Authorize Mayor as Signatory for Single Room\nOccupancy (SRO) Unit Lease Agreements, Authorize the City Manager\nto Enter Into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the South\nBay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG) for the Administration of\nMeasure A Local Solutions Fund for Fiscal Year 2026-27, and Accept\nand Appropriate Grant Award. Expenditure:\nNot-to-Exceed $69,372 (Non-General Fund).\nRecommendation of the City Manager that City Council:\n1. Authorize the Mayor as the City’s signatory for the lease agreements\nfor 6 SRO units with\nSunshine 11 LP, subject to the prescribed terms; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a Memorandum of\nUnderstanding (MOU) with the South Bay Cities Council of\nGovernments (SBCCOG) to administer the City’s Measure A Local\nSolutions Funding allocation for 2026-27 including the SRO beds;\nand\n3. Upon execution of the MOU, accept and appropriate grant award to\na newly created Grant Project for a not-to-exceed amount of\n$69,372.
