10B.Community Services – Approve Purchase of Tickets for 2026\nTorrance Galaxy Night, Authorize the Purchase of Additional Tickets\nBased on Demand, and Provide Direction on Ticket Resale to\nTorrance Community Members. Expenditure: Not-to-Exceed $17,325\n(General Fund).\nRecommendation of the Community Services Director that City Council:\n1. Approve the purchase of 300 tickets to the Saturday, August 1,\n2026, Los Angeles Galaxy game for a total of $10,395; and\n2. Authorize the purchase of 200 additional tickets based on interest\nand demand for an additional $6,930; and\n3. Provide direction on ticket resale to Torrance community members\nat cost.
