(26) 26-0783\nPUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE REPORT relative to acceptance of an\nin-kind donation valued at $669,000 from the Los Angeles Fire\nDepartment Foundation for audiovisual upgrades at the Department\nOperations Center and Metropolitan Fire Communications.\nRecommendation for Council action:\nAPPROVE the acceptance of the in-kind donation valued at $669,000\nfrom the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation for audiovisual\nupgrades at the Department Operations Center and Metropolitan Fire\nCommunications conference rooms, including a dedicated space for\nthe Drone First Responder Program; and, THANK the donor for this\ngenerous donation.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The Board of Fire Commissioners reports\nthat there is no fiscal impact to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s\nbudget associated with the acceptance of this donation. Replacement\nor repair of items that meet City specifications and Fire Department\nbusiness needs may be borne by the General Fund, subject to\nbudgetary constraints. Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the\nChief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this\nreport.
