(30) 26-0662\nPUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE REPORT relative to acceptance of an\nin-kind donation valued at $467,000 from the Los Angeles Fire\nDepartment Foundation for Tablet Command software.\nRecommendation for Council action:\nAPPROVE the acceptance of the in-kind donation valued at $467,000\nfrom the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation for a one-year\nsubscription for Tablet Command software; and, THANK the donor for\nthis generous donation.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The Board of Fire Commissioners reports\nthat there is no fiscal impact to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s\nbudget associated with the acceptance of this donation. The Los\nAngeles Fire Department Foundation will fund the first year of the\nTablet Command subscription. The Los Angeles Fire Department will\nfund years two through five, subject to future budget appropriations.\nReplacement or repair of items that meet City specifications and Fire\nDepartment business needs may be borne by the General Fund,\nsubject to budgetary constraints. Neither the City Administrative\nOfficer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial\nanalysis of this report.
