(12) 19-0511-S6\nPERSONNEL AND HIRING COMMITTEE REPORT and ORDINANCE\nFIRST CONSIDERATION relative to amending the Los Angeles\nAdministrative Code (LAAC) to update the salaries of certain non-\nrepresented classes paid on an hourly basis to $18.42 per hour\neffective July 1, 2026.\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL\nOF THE MAYOR:\n1. PRESENT and ADOPT the accompanying ORDINANCE dated\nApril 7, 2026, approved as to form and legality by the City\nAttorney, amending Schedule A of Section 4.61 of the LAAC to\nupdate the salaries of certain non-represented classes paid on\nan hourly basis to conform to the Los Angeles Minimum Wage\nOrdinance (Ordinance No. 184320, as amended by Ordinance\nNo. 187456), codified in Los Angeles Municipal Code Section\n187.02D.amending Schedule A of Section 4.61 of the LAAC to\nupdate the salaries of certain non-represented classes paid on\nan hourly basis to $18.42 per hour effective July 1, 2026, in\nconformance with the City’s minimum wage ordinance,\nOrdinance No. 184320.\n2. AUTHORIZE the Controller and City Administraitve Officer\n(CAO) to correct any clerical or technical errors in the above\nOrdinance.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The CAO reports that this proposed\nOrdinance has no additional impact on the General Fund. Any costs\nassociated with the minimum wage salary updates as reflected in the\nattached ordinance will be absorbed within budgeted funds for the\nemploying Departments.
