(11) 24-0427-S3\nPERSONNEL AND HIRING COMMITTEE REPORT relative to\nproposed Letter of Agreement with the Engineers and Architects\nAssociation (EAA) in connection with MOU 21 for the Technical Rank\nand File Unit.\nRecommendations for Council action:\n1. ADOPT the Letter of Agreement (LOA) with EAA, representing\nthe Technical Rank and File Unit (MOU 21). This LOA would\nprovide a one-time, non-pensionable cash payment not to\nexceed $12,000 to one employee serving as the Deputy\nDirector of the Charter Reform Commission.\n2. AUTHORIZE the City Administrative Officer (CAO) and\nController to correct any clerical or technical errors in the MOU.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The CAO reports that the cost of filling the\nExecutive Director of the Charter Reform Commission position will\nhave no impact to the General fund. The associated costs will be\nabsorbed within the budgeted funds for the Fiscal Year 2025-26\nadopted budget.
