A. Authorization to Issue Purchase Orders with Various Vendors for Four Sweepers and Twelve Front\nLoaders for the Resource Recovery and Recycling Division\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15302 (Replacement or\nReconstruction) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines;\n2. Authorize the Procurement Manager to issue a purchase order with Municipal Maintenance\nEquipment for purchase of one Fayat Ravo E2 battery-electric bicycle lane sweeper (BEV\nBicycle Lane Sweeper) for the Public Works Department. This recommended award is\nmade as an exception to the competitive bidding process pursuant to Section 2.24.250(c)\nand is for a total amount not to exceed $432,268, with future year funding contingent on\nCouncil budget approval.\n3. Authorize the Procurement Manager to issue a purchase order with Tymco, Inc., for\npurchase of three compressed natural gas (CNG) Tymco Model 600 street sweepers (CNG\nStreet Sweepers) for the Public Works Department. This recommended award is made as\nan exception to the competitive bidding process pursuant to Section 2.24.250(c) and is for\na total amount not to exceed $1,511,941, with future year funding contingent on Council\nbudget approval;\n4. Authorize the Procurement Manager to issue a purchase order with Los Angeles Truck\nCenters, LLC, dba Velocity Truck Centers, for purchase of eleven CNG front loader refuse\nvehicles for the Public Works Department. This recommended award is made as an\nexception to the competitive bidding process pursuant to Section 2.24.250(c) and is for a\ntotal amount not to exceed $7,021,686, with future year funding contingent on Council\nbudget approval; and
