18. ACCEPTANCE OF THE MONTEBELLO BOULEVARD FROM LOS ANGELES AVENUE TO LINCOLN\nBOULEVARD CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CP 888) – NOTICE OF COMPLETION\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Accept the Montebello Boulevard from Los Angeles Avenue to Lincoln Boulevard Capital Improvement\nProject (CP 888) as completed by Toro Enterprises, Inc.; and\n2. Approve the final contract amount with Toro Enterprises, Inc. for the Project in the amount of $3,610,816\nincluding change orders; and\n3. Approve the Final Total Project Budget (Attachment A); and\n4. Authorize the City Clerk to execute, verify and file the Notice of Completion (Attachment B) with the Los\nAngeles County Registrar-Recorder; and\n5. Authorize the release of the retention payment of $180,541 due to Toro Enterprises, Inc. following the\nmandatory waiting period from the date the Notice of Completion is recorded; and\n6. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
