13. APPROVE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) ELECTRIC VEHICLE AND ONE (1) HYBRID VEHICLE FOR THE PUBLIC\nWORKS DEPARTMENT UTILIZING ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CONSERVATION BLOCK GRANT (EECBG)\nAND SOUTH COAST AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT (AQMD) FUNDING\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the purchase of one (1) Ford E-Transit Cargo Van and one (1) Ford F-150 Hybrid for the Public\nWorks Department utilizing Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) and South Coast\nAir Quality Management District (AQMD) funds; and\n2. Approve the purchase of one (1) Ford E-Transit Cargo Van through State of California Statewide Contract\n#1-22-23-20 with National Auto Fleet Group as allowed by Montebello Municipal Code Chapter\n3.20.050(F) – Cooperative Purchases; and\n3. Approve the purchase of one (1) Ford F-150 Hybrid through Sourcewell Contract #081325-NAF with\nNational Auto Fleet Group as allowed by Montebello Municipal Code Chapter 3.20.050(F) – Cooperative\nPurchases; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents related to the purchase of the vehicles;\nand\n5. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
