28. APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT NO. 4327 WITH A.O. REED & CO. TO INCLUDE THE\nTRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT FOR HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC)\nPREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND AS-NEEDED REPAIR SERVICES\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 4327 with A.O. Reed & Co. (A.O. Reed), to include the\nTransportation Department for citywide Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) preventative\nmaintenance and as-needed repair services; exercise the first one-year (1-year) term extension\nauthorized under the agreement; increase the annual as-needed repair allocation from $200,000 to\n$250,000 (effective July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2029), increasing the total compensation by $634,355 for a\nrevised not-to-exceed amount of $1,482,040; and\nMontebello (City); and\n3. Take such additional, related, action as may be desirable.
