A. ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS FOR POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS AND VICIOUS DOGS The City Council is requested to consider adoption of the proposed ordinance to revise the City’s code relating to potentially dangerous and vicious dogs. Presenter: Community Development Director Recommendation: 1. Introduce for first reading by title only and waive further reading of Ordinance No. 26-1089, amending Chapter 6 of Title 3 of the Temple City Municipal Code to revise the City’s adoption by reference of Title 10 of the Los Angeles County Code relating to animal control, including Chapter 10.37, “Potentially Dangerous and Vicious Dogs,” and to clarify animal control enforcement and administrative citation authority; and 2. Schedule a public hearing and second reading on July 21, 2026, to consider adoption of Ordinance No. 26-1089. Attachments: Staff Report (PDF)
