B Consideration and possible action to read by title only, waive further reading, and introduce Ordinance No. 1459 – An Ordinance adding Chapter 12.45 to the Bellflower Municipal Code (“BMC”) governing public tree management CEQA: The Ordinance is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3). Here, the Ordinance is intended to provide a framework for the management, protection, maintenance and replacement of public trees. Recommendation to City Council: 1) Read by title only, waive further reading, and introduce Ordinance No. 1459, adding Chapter 12.45 to the Bellflower Municipal Code; or 2) Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
