9A.Finance – Conduct Public Hearing and Adopt RESOLUTIONS Authorizing and Directing the Los Angeles County Assessor to Include Delinquent Solid Waste, Sewer Discharge, and Water Usage Fees as a Special Assessment. Expenditure: None. Recommendation of the Finance Director that City Council: 1. Conduct a public hearing; and 2. Adopt a RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Los Angeles County Assessor to include delinquent solid waste fees as a special assessment to be collected at the same time and in the same manner as county taxes; and 3. Adopt a RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Los Angeles County Assessor to include delinquent sewer discharge fees as a special assessment to be collected at the same time and in the same manner as county taxes; and 4. Adopt a RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Los Angeles County Assessor to include delinquent water usage fees as a special assessment to be collected at the same time and in the same manner as county taxes.
