D.5 CONSIDERATION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES WITH BEST CONTRACTING SERVICES, INC. FOR ROOFING IMPROVEMENTS AT THE LA PUENTE COMMUNITY CENTER IN THE AMOUNT OF $791,069.00. Staff Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: (1) approve the agreement for construction services with BEST Contracting Services, Inc. for roofing improvements at the La Puente Community Center in the amount of $791,069.00; and (2) authorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement and approve change orders up to 10% of the original bid amount.
