18. CONSIDER APPROVING COMMUNITY PROJECT FUNDING GRANT AGREEMENT NO. B-23-CP-CA-0076 WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT TO ACCEPT UP TO $2,000,000 IN FEDERAL FUNDING FOR ENERGY RESILIENCY AND FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS AT VETERANS PARK AND SPORTS COMPLEX (CITY COUNCIL) RECOMMENDED ACTION — 1. APPROVE the Community Project Funding (CPF) Grant Agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), authorizing the City to accept and administer $2,000,000 in federal grant funding for the Energy Resiliency at Veterans Park and Sports Complex Project; and, — 2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the Grant Agreement and any related grant documents, amendments, certifications, and sub-recipient agreements necessary to implement the project, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.
