Staff report recommending the Mayor and Council Members accept the 2026 FIFA World Cup
Program Funding Agreement between the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and the
Recommendation:
1. Accept the 2026 FIFA World Cup Program Funding Agreement;
2. Adopt a resolution authorizing acceptance of the Funding Agreement and
ratifying execution of the Agreement, and further amending the Fiscal Year
2025-2026 Operating Budget to appropriate grant revenues and expenditures.
