Staff report recommending the Mayor and Council Members approve the renewal of the South
Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB) Local Area Memorandum of Understanding
(MOU) with sixteen (16) America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) partners for the term of
July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028.
Recommendation:
1. Approve renewal of the MOU;
Local Elected Official (CLEO) for the South Bay Workforce Investment Board,
to execute a signed copy of the MOU for each AJCC partner; and
3. Authorize the submission of the executed MOUs and related documents to the
California Workforce Development Board to satisfy applicable federal and State
workforce development requirements.
