8. AWARD EMERGENCY CONTRACT TO REPLACE THE PROMENADE ON\nFOREST DECKS IN THE EXISTING CONFIGURATION\nRecommendations:\n(1) Authorize the City Manager to award an emergency contract to Laguna\nConstruction in the amount of $260,000 to replace the Promenade on Forest’s\ndecks damaged during the 2022/23 winter storms; and\n(2) Authorize the City Manager to approve project related expenses and\nconstruction change orders for unforeseen circumstances for an amount not-to-\nexceed $26,000.\nStaff Report\nREGULAR ORDER\nThe Regular Order of Business section of the Agenda is designed for items that will require separate\ndiscussion and citizen input before the City Council makes a determination of the items.
