9. APPROVAL OF SECOND CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH YUNEX, LLC FOR FY 2025-2026 – F2M25-31, C2M25-41, M2M26-122 On September 22, 2025, the City Council awarded a contract to YUNEX LLC in the amount of $240,000.00 for Traffic Signal and Street Lighting Maintenance Services. On March 23, 2026, the City Council approved an amendment in the amount of $120,000.00 for additional property damage and repairs. Since then, the City has received all invoices and experienced an increase in emergency response and additional property damage and repairs, resulting in the contract fully exhausted by the April 2026 billing. Staff is requesting additional appropriations in the amount of $40,000.00 for the services provided under the 2025-2026 Fiscal year. Recommended Action: City Council approve a second amendment to the Agreement with YUNEX LLC for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 for an additional $40,000.00 for traffic signal and street lighting maintenance services, subject to final language approval by the City Manager and City Attorney; and direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
