C. Adoption of Resolution No. 2026-43 Amending the City’s Fiscal Year (FY)
2026-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget to Appropriate
Additional Funds for the Annual Preventative Pavement Maintenance
Project and Award of Contract to Hardy and Harper Inc. for Construction
of Street Rehabilitation and Concrete Improvements (CIP Project Nos.
21034, 21850, and 24009)
Recommendation: That the City Council take the following actions:
1. Authorize the Interim City Manager to execute a construction
contract with Hardy and Harper Inc. in the amount of $2,790,000 plus
a 10% contingency in the amount of $279,000 to cover the cost of
unforeseen construction expenses; and
2. Adopt Resolution No. 2026-43, amending the City’s Fiscal Year 2026-
2027 CIP Budget to appropriate additional funds in the amount of
$115,500 in Public Facilities (Fund 510) to cover the cost related to
parking lot repairs.
