7) CONSIDERATION TO APPROVE A FIRST AMENDMENT EXTENDING THE CONTRACT SERVICESAGREEMENT WITH UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA LOS ANGELES HEALTHY EARLY HEAD STARTPROGRAM TO PROVIDE SUPPORT IN SCHOOL READINESS AND QUALITY SERVICESRecommend that the City Council:a. Approve a first amendment extending the Contract Services Agreement with University ofCalifornia Los Angeles Health Early Head Start Program (Contract No. 2408(a)) toAugust 4, 2029, to provide individualized support in school readiness, health, resources,and quality services for infant, toddlers, pregnant women, and their families, free of coststo San Fernando residents and other participants; andb. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to make non-substantive changes and executeall related documents.
