The Committee may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal
counsel relative to the case entitled LaJune Shannel Newborn v. City
of Santa Clarita, et al., Court of Appeal, State of California, Second
Appellate District, Case No. B335443; Los Angeles Superior Court
Case No. 19STCV42704. (This matter arises from a December 19,
2018, traffic accident on State Route 14 in Santa Clarita involving a
Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer.)
